Today’s Android rooting community is incredibly prolific. Roots have been unveiled for just about every device out there. And One Click Root makes Android rooting as easy as possible.
That’s why we’re not really surprised to discover that a Samsung Galaxy S4 root was discovered prior to the device’s launch. That’s right: before the S4 was even available to the general public, a team of rooters was able to unlock its core functionality.
The S4 root was revealed on the XDA Developers Forum by a member named i9000. That member also posted specific rooting instructions and a link to the application download.
There is a problem with this Galaxy S4 root, however: it only works on the Exynos 5 Octa model of the device. Most markets will receive the other version of the S4, which features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. You’ll also need a fair bit of technical knowledge to download the application, run the kernel, and install custom ROMs if you’re not using an automated software program like One Click Root.
The easiest way to root your Samsung Galaxy S4
Rooting is a great way to unlock the full functionality of your Android. It allows you to download whatever apps you want and access features that Google, Samsung, and your phone carrier prevent you from accessing. And with programs like One Click Root, it’s a risk-free process that takes only a few minutes to complete.
Look for the Galaxy S4 root to be included in One Click Root in the very near future!
