If you haven’t played Temple Run yet, then you’re missing out on one of Android’s most popular – and addicting – games. Temple Run 2 was released a few months ago, and it looks like Imangi Studios wasn’t done yet.
Imangi Studios recently partnered with Disney to bring us Temple Run: Oz. It’s based on a Disney movie called Oz the Great and features similar themes and scenes from that movie.
For those who aren’t familiar with Oz the Great, Temple Run: Oz involves the following gameplay possibilities:
-Run on yellow brick walls
-Run through dark forests
-Swipe and lean your handset to guide the character through dangerous obstacles while avoiding the scary creatures chasing you
-Ride a balloon to basically enter ‘bonus mode’ where all the character has to do is swipe left and right to collect coins
Temple Run fans will already know about Temple Run: Brave, which featured new gameplay possibilities like the ability to shoot arrows. Unfortunately, Temple Run: Oz doesn’t feature shooting, and there are no real objectives or storyline to be found. But if you’re looking for some good old fashioned running action, Temple Run: Oz is one you should check out.
As you can see, Temple Run: Oz is much the same as its predecessors. But why fix something that isn’t broken? Download Temple Run: Oz today from the Google Play Store for $0.99 to see what all the fuss is about.
